Architecture
Architecture is the art and science for practice of designing and constructing of any buildings. Architecture engineering is a part of engineering which deals with the technological aspects and multi-disciplinary approach to planning, designing, construction and operation of buildings, such as analysis and integrated design of environmental factors.
Civil Engineering
On the other hand civil engineering is also a part of engineering which deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
Architect and civil engineer both are playing an important role in the construction of the buildings. Architect and civil engineer is needed for different purposes.
An architect can not fulfill a civil engineer purpose nor a civil engineer can do that for an architect. So, we can say both are like left and right hand.

- Architects provide proper arrangements for present and future needs with proper land utilization.
- To design & arrange the rooms & facilities according to the desire.
Functions of a Civil Engineer
- Provide a safety measure to a building as well as workers.
- Test the materials which is required in the construction of buildings.
- Selection of a contractor to complete the works.
